it rides totally different. it is much smoother on the downhill but has lost some of its climbing ability. it also feels alot lower. it is a little heavier but i dont really notice it because the center of gravity is lower. the best way i can put it is that: the new sx trail rides like a dedicated freeride bike and not just a beefed up aggressive all mountain bike...
p.s. i like the way the new one rides. i am definately gonna be faster on the dh this year

i love the diablo man... other than the fact that the bottom bracket is really low. but it turns great

yes i do and their great i love em iv had them for over a year they hit rocks scrape bo8ulders and they still look great they have interchangable spikes long or short mine came with short they stick in skate shoes great

if your looking for pedals, try the primo platforms great for mtb and bmx their cheap $40 us dollars and they last plus they come in a variety of colors
